N. Branson Call, M.D.

N. Branson Call, M.D., F.A.C.S., performs ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Idaho Eye Center.

After graduating from Harvard University, Dr. Call attended Duke University Medical School.   He interned at the University of Utah and performed his residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.  He is fellowship trained in oculoplastics and orbital. Dr. Call is board certified.

Dr. Call treats problems affecting the eyelids, the tear system, the orbit, and the adjacent face which can arise as a result of birth defects, aging changes, tumors, trauma, or systemic disease such as thyroid disease. 

The most common procedures performed by Dr. Call are eyelid deformities (entropion, ectropion), baggy eyelids (dermatochalasis), scars, trauma, eyelid cancer (malignancy), droopy eyelids (ptosis), loss of an eye (anophthalmos), thyroid disease, birth defects (congenital), and tearduct problems.

Dr. Call is a resident of Salt Lake City and travels to Idaho Falls on a routine basis to perform scheduled surgeries.

Dr. Call is an itinerate surgeon bringing his expertise to the Idaho Eye Center on a periodic basis performing Ocular Plastic Surgery on patients in our area saving patients travel to Salt Lake City.
