Corneal Pachymetry

CORNEAL PACHYMETRY (DGH-550 PACHETTE 2)

Corneal pachymetry is an instrument that measures the thickness of the cornea. Our computerized corneal pachymeter utilizes ultrasound to provide a precise measurement of corneal thickness. During the procedure anesthetic drops are placed in the eye, and a small probe is placed on the tear film. The measurement is completed in less than 20 seconds, and is completely painless.

This measurement is very helpful in the management of glaucoma, corneal disorders, keratoconus, and (pre and post) refractive surgery.
